If I could turn back time...

On Saturday our ward held the first annual "Wardstock/Love Fest" We all dressed as hippies, and some very talented people from the ward performed.


We brought blankets and laid them out, We got to hear from "The Zach Pond Experience", "Flower Power" (Jonna is amazing!) and a tribute to Jimi Hendrix by Todd Petersen.

We had so much fun!


I have become so inspired by the things that went on in the 60's and 70's. I am in love with the film Across the Universe, the music is incredible. (And so is Jude)

And the winner is...

I had a great opportunity to attend the 2008 Makeup Artist and HairstylistSymposium for the Oscars. We got to hear from each of the nominees about their experience on the films nominated for and meet and mingle with them afterwards.

The nominees this year included some amazing artists such as, Rick Baker and Kazu for Norbit, Ve Neill and Martin Samuel for Pirates of the Caribbean 3,

and Didier Lavegne and Jan Archibald for La Vien Rose.

A friend found a GREAT deal on a trip to Hawaii, after not a lot of thinking we booked the trip! My first trip to Hawaii and I am SO excited. I can't wait. I hope the next 2 months fly by! Here's a look at what I will be soon experiencing.

I am really excited for this adventure and I am excited to be going with a great group of people that I am going to get to know and love. Are you jealous? Cause you should be!

I have taken the advice from many of my friends and family and I am FINALLY starting my own blog. Bare with me as I adjust...I hope I get the hang of it quickly! Love you all and miss you all! Can't wait to see you hopefully soon!!

Fam Dam

The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's possessions, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, with individual quirky habits, we are loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bind us all together FOREVER.
How lucky I am to be stuck with my family!
