I had a great opportunity to attend the 2008 Makeup Artist and HairstylistSymposium for the Oscars. We got to hear from each of the nominees about their experience on the films nominated for and meet and mingle with them afterwards.

The nominees this year included some amazing artists such as, Rick Baker and Kazu for Norbit, Ve Neill and Martin Samuel for Pirates of the Caribbean 3,
and Didier Lavegne and Jan Archibald for La Vien Rose.
